Award-winning Campsite in Cornwall
Looking for campsites in Cornwall? Then come to Padstow Holiday Village, recently the AA's Campsite of the Year for the Southwest. A panoramic view of the beautiful north Cornish countryside is just one of the attractions that draw visitors to this campsite. Tents, motorhomes, campervans and caravans are welcome to pitch at Padstow Holiday Village which has 150 pitches, of which 45 are hardstanding - electric hook-ups are available, too. And you'll struggle to fault the excellent on-site facilities. There are two modern and heated amenities blocks, with hot showers, toilets, basins, baby changing areas, hairdryers and shaver points, plus a disabled/family wet room and a separate 'winterised' amenities block that has double glazing and underfloor heating. There is also a laundry room, two washing up areas, two ice pack freezers, two chemical disposal points, a motorhome service point, and Calor Gas and Campingaz sales. The on-site shop sells groceries and camping kits, there's Wi-Fi and a children's play area, and a heated coffee lounge opens all year. Padstow Holiday Village is also an award-winning campsite having been awarded a five-pennant rating by the AA, an AA Gold Pennant Award and five stars from EnjoyEngland, as well as a gold David Bellamy award for conservation and the Gold Award winner in the Cornwall Tourism Awards.
This is a dog-friendly campsite. However, owners must be able to control their dogs, the dogs must be kept on their leads at all times and owners must clean up after their canine companions. Another feature that's popular with guests who stay at this five-star campsite in Cornwall is the direct access via a footpath to Padstow, widely regarded as one of Cornwall's most attractive towns - as a foodie heaven. It is a charming, historic fishing harbour town on the Camel Estuary and with seven local beaches, you can try a different one every day of the week! If you want to venture further afield but leave the car or motorhome on-site, you'll be pleased to learn that a bus route passes the campsite entrance, taking you to Padstow, Wadebridge and Bodmin from Padstow, you can take a connecting service to Newquay and other places. And you'll surely want to get out and about as there's so much to see on your motorhome tours and camping and caravan holidays in Cornwall. If you'd rather drive to Newquay than take the bus, it's about half an hour from Padstow Holiday Village, this renowned surfing destination and the famous Fistral Beach big draws for many who take holidays in Cornwall. Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium are also top attractions if you'd rather not don a wetsuit. The Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Bodmin Moor are just waiting for you to explore. And despite Padstow Holiday Village being on the north coast of Cornwall, the Eden Project, near St Austell on the south Cornish coast, is about a 40-/45-minute drive away.

Fantastic site in a great location, toilet facilities are brilliant, including underfloor heating in one of the blocks. Looks as if this site has had lots of money spent on it in the last few years, new road ways, all toilet blocks look as if they have been refurbished in the last couple of years, a brand new laundry room, new electric bollards with water and lights, lots of trees and plants. Deserves its David Bellamy award. Has a lovely walk in to Padstow along a public footpath from the site. Padstow is a very pretty little fishing town, well worth a visit. Lots of great beaches nearby as well.‎ Padstow Touring Park, Padstow, Cornwall
