Staff are incredibly rude, pass themselves off as a 'big organisation' when in reality they are anything but. Any phone contact and you say anything you don't agree with and they hang up on you. Avoid.

Where do I start.... Very small campsite mainly set up for caravans. The toilet, shower facilities, washing up, laundry facilities are very poor: No toilet paper (first site I have ever visited that does not provide this basic facility...) The shower was hot but both the toilet and shower had 'out-house' style 3 quarter doors. However this did provide most light as the ceiling lights were so old and dirty they did not provide any light... Glad we did not need to do any washing as the washing machines are very old, dirty and the door was broken on one. I did not see any warning about the electric being turning off at a 'certain' time, but it may just be coincidence that 6:30 prompt the hair dryer stopped working! The playarea was also very small and only kept my 8 year old lad occupied for 5 mins... The clubhouse was entertaining (an Elvis Presly night!) and reasonably priced, although its a good walk up the road from the tent field. The field is next to a busy main road with no views to talk off. Some camping residents were ignorant and it was a play off with 3 different families playing very loud and unsuitable music for a family campsite (although the campsite itself can not be blamed for this!) This said, it was quiet at night. All in all this was a very expensive night for how little you get for your money. £17 for a Sat night in June! There are many campsites charging less and offering better facilities. I shall not be returning to this site. (Please note there is no option not to recommend this site to anyone)
