The park is adorned with natural limestone outcrops and mature trees complemented by many specimen trees and shrubs that have been planted over the years.

Hawthorns park has received a 5 star rating every year since 1990 and also won the Most Improved Park in England Award and best Park in Lancashire. For more than ten consecutive years it has been awarded a Gold ‘’David Bellamy Conservation Award’’.
The park has been owned and managed by Deryck and Monika, and their son Ashley for over 20 years who constantly strive to provide a friendly and personal service.
Recently, Hawthorns Park have opened The Glade, a new exclusive holiday home development with piped cabled services adjoining Hawthorns very own wildflower meadow with the Lookout and its magnificent long distance views over Morecambe Bay. The Glade looks out over a large wildlife pond and gardens.
All plots on the park have access to free Wi-Fi and a large, well-stocked library with all the latest best sellers. 9 hole putting greens in the centre of the park are popular with owners and their visitors alike.
The park is exclusively for our holiday home owners all of whom have their main residence off the park. All makes of holiday homes are available, occasionally good quality second hand ones come up for sale.
Hawthorns is open from March to January every year.

Directions
Windermere is a scenic 20 minute drive and the delightful market town of Kirkby Londsdale is just 15 minutes away in the Lune Valley. The bird sanctuary at Leighton Moss only takes 10 minutes to reach. Hawthorns is 5 minutes drive from the M6 junction 35. Just outside Nether Kellet village. Leave at junction 35. At the roundabout take the B6254 and go to the T- junction. Turn right and cross the motorway bridge. Take the first left, signposted "Nether Kellet " and "Hawthorns Park". At the next T-junction (1mile), turn left . You will find Hawthorns Park ½ mile on the left.
