Gallaber Park has pitches for guests with touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, as well as offering new and pre-owned static caravans for those looking to make this beautiful location their permanent holiday retreat.
In addition, seasonal pitches are available for guests looking to stay at Gallaber Park throughout the season but that aren’t looking to become permanent holiday home owners.
In all, 71 pitches at Gallaber Park are suitable for touring caravans and motorhomes. These are all hardstanding and benefit from electric hook-ups, as well as being able to access the free Wi-Fi that is available here. All the touring pitches are well spaced out, ensuring guests enjoy a degree of privacy while staying at the park as well as having plenty of room for relaxing in the sun or hosting a barbecue.
The separate camping area has 19 pitches, with hardstandings and electric hook-ups also available, along with grass pitches with no hook-ups.

There are lots of activities to be enjoyed on the park for guests who don’t want to venture far away. Gallaber Park has a wildlife pond, a wildlife meadow and a beautiful woodland walk. Various birds, insects and other wildlife often make their home at the park, while luckier guests will get to see herds of deer as they pass through.
This campsite also provides a number of fun activities for children, including mini-beast hunting and wildlife based treasure hunts. Plus, there is a sizeable adventure playground. Guests will also find mini golf and a boules court, available to use throughout their time at the park, with equipment hire free of charge.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, many people come to this area on their holidays to visit Yorkshire's famous Dales. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a beautiful, magnificent place that visitors of all ages will delight in. Enjoy the great outdoors and explore the Dales on foot, on mountain bike or even on horse back. There are many ways to see the Dales, with most tourists choosing to explore at their own leisure, although guided tours of the most popular hills, villages, and other tourist sites found within the national park are also popular. You could also try fell running, climbing or caving, or see the landscape from the water, by going sailing or maybe windsurfing. The Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also close to this campsite and well worth exploring, too.
A short, 20-minute drive from Gallaber Park will bring you to the market town of Skipton, while in under an hour you could be in Harrogate or Kendal, or in 45 minutes you could be in Blackburn.
Things to do in Skipton
Gallaber Park is the perfect base from which to explore the spectacular surrounding countryside, villages and market towns and the many other local attractions.
Settle Carlisle Railway
The 72 mile route from Settle to Carlisle takes you on a journey through the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, over the 24 arches of the Ribblehead Viaduct before plunging into the longest tunnel on the line at Blea Moor. Emerging onto the side of Dendale, the line leaves the Dales at Garsdale and makes its way through the gentle lush rolling hills of the Eden Valley, with rural villages and market towns before arriving at the great border city of Carlisle.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail
The 4½ mile waterfalls trail boasts some of the most spectacular waterfall and oak woodland scenery in the UK, truly encapsulating nature at its best.
As a year round attraction, you will have abundant opportunities to view seasonal landscapes, explore nature and see amazing geological features including Thornton Force that falls 14 metres over limestone. A walk in a waterfall wonderland!
Yorkshire Dales National Park
This very special part of the Yorkshire Dales has been given national park status because of its beautiful countryside, amazing wildlife, cultural heritage and the fantastic opportunities it offers for recreation.
As you can imagine, there is lots to see and do, from spotting red squirrels in Snaizeholme and walking along the unique limestone pavement at the top of the 80 metre high Malham Cove to learning about the generations of people who made the Dales home at the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes.
Skipton ‘The Gateway to the Dales’
Skipton is an attractive Pennine market town situated on the southerly edge of the Yorkshire Dales. This historic market town is centred around the spectacular castle located at the top of its award winning High Street on which there is a busy market four days a week. The canal basin through which the Leeds Liverpool Canal passes is a hive of activity from where trips on the canal can be taken or barges hired for longer excursions. With plenty of pubs and restaurants, an excellent leisure centre and park, not to mention Skipton Golf Club just on the outskirts of town, there is plenty to see and do.
Settle
A bustling market town in the foothills of the Pennines set amidst some of the most picturesque scenery in North Yorkshire. The town stands besides the largest outcrop of limestone in Britain – in a region of scars, cliffs, caves and pot holes. Settle is at its liveliest on Tuesdays, when the weekly market takes place attracting traders from far and wide.
Forest of Bowland
The Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty covers 312 sq miles of rural Lancashire and North Yorkshire and includes the famous landmark of Pendle Hill.
