Tudor Glen Caravan Park

Tenby, Pembrokeshire

Tudor Glen Caravan Park is a beautiful, family run holiday park found inside the picturesque Pembrokeshire National Park. With a three-star rating and a David Bellamy Gold Award, this small campsite in Wales is the ideal setting for a family break away from it all. The holiday park only covers six acres yet welcomes guests with tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, and rewards them with amazing views of the surrounding area. Tudor Glen Caravan Park has a heated outdoor swimming pool, a children's play area, plus a games room with a snooker table and much more. For guests' comfort and convenience there are heated shower blocks, an on-site shop, a chemical waste disposal point and laundry facilities, too. Camping, motorcaravan tours and caravan holidays in Wales have long been popular and if you've pitched at Tudor Glen Caravan Park, there's plenty to discover - why not explore the Pembrokeshire National Park? This campsite is also close to the south Wales coastline, which has long been regarded as one of the best in the world. Here you can enjoy miles upon miles of walks, as well as sandy beaches. Whether you're heading to the beach for some fun and relaxing family time, or you'd rather have a go at windsurfing, kitesurfing or jet skiing, you can try all this and more right here. The Pembrokeshire coastline also offers plenty of opportunities for discovery, with caves and areas for fossil digging also available. Rugged, raw and picturesque, there is something for everyone in this corner of the coast. For those not wanting to spend all their time on the beautiful beaches of the area, there are plenty of family friendly attractions to be found inland. These include the famous Dinosaur Park, while there are also other natural attractions and theme parks. Guests preferring a simple day out can explore the countryside and woodland that characterises the area, while there are many places where fishing and golf can be enjoyed. This campsite in Wales is in the village of Jameston, where you can enjoy a meal out at the Swan Lake Inn or a day out at Manorbier Country Park. The village of Freshwater East is just a nine-minute drive, or about an hour on foot, to the west of this campsite. Visit this village to take in the striking red sandstone cliffs, to enjoy a meal at the pub and walk the coast path - from here you can head to Stackpole Quay where you'll find a lovely cafe. There's also a delightful, sandy beach here, and the dunes behind the beach at Freshwater East form The Burrows, a nature reserve. The historic town of Pembroke is only a 15-minute drive from Tudor Glen Caravan Park, where you can visit Pembroke Castle. Tenby is also a 15- or 20-minute drive east. If you're in need of a more substantial settlement, Llanelli is about a 70-minute drive away, or head to Carmarthen which is just over 40 minutes way from this campsite by car. There are many campsites in Wales, but Tudor Glen Caravan Park's special location on the Pembrokeshire coast makes it a lovely place to pitch on your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays.
