The village of Freshwater East is just a nine-minute drive, or about an hour on foot, to the west of this campsite. Visit this village to take in the striking red sandstone cliffs, to enjoy a meal at the pub and walk the coast path - from here you can head to Stackpole Quay where you'll find a lovely cafe. There's also a delightful, sandy beach here, and the dunes behind the beach at Freshwater East form The Burrows, a nature reserve. The historic town of Pembroke is only a 15-minute drive from Tudor Glen Caravan Park, where you can visit Pembroke Castle. Tenby is also a 15- or 20-minute drive east. If you're in need of a more substantial settlement, Llanelli is about a 70-minute drive away, or head to Carmarthen which is just over 40 minutes way from this campsite by car. There is plenty to do in the area surrounding Well Park, with a number of amazing beaches found just a short walk away, perfect for paddling, swimming, fishing, and rock pooling, while depending on the weather conditions pursuits such as windsurfing may also be available. Those looking to relax and simply explore the surroundings will find miles of potential routes for walking and cycling, while many locations in the area offer pony trekking and various other pursuits including climbing and abseiling.
