An award-winning caravan park in Saxmundham, Suffolk, that is constantly improving its standards to ensure guests are satisfied with quality of their holiday. Peaceful site with generously spaced pitches. The surrounding area consists of wild flower meadow, woodland and a dog exercising area.

Friendly, peaceful campsite which is family owned. Set in the wonderful countryside of Suffolk, this site is a perfect base for enjoying and exploring everything that East Suffolk has to offer. Also great area for walking and cycling as well as visiting nearby towns (Southwold, Aldeburgh etc.). We do not have peak season prices - they always stay the same throughout the year! Mill Hill Farm Caravan & Camping Park is very unique - it has a lot of eco facilities that are environment friendly.

Kessingland Beach Holiday Park is a great base to explore scenic Suffolk in East England.

Shottisham campsite has 45 spacious pitches (some with electrical hook-up) spread between 5 small fields broken up by mature native trees and bushes. The pitches are level and on free-draining ground. Please see the site map below for an idea of the layout. If you would like to stay in a particular area please ask when you book and we will be happy to oblige if it is possible. Facilities: there are two small shower blocks - powered by solar energy (PV array) - the most recent was completed in 2016. The older green toilet block has two toilets, washing basins and a shower each for men and for women. The new toilet block is phase one of a projected two-phase build. We didn't have enough money to build the planned toilet block in one go so we built a small block and installed all the necessary supporting facilities such as hot water boilers, pressure tanks and a brand new sewage system - we are not on mains drainage! The new toilet block is currently a unisex block with a toilet, a shower, disabled-access/family toilet and washing basins. We hope to start the next phase of the build in a year or so and this will be another small building with three toilets, two showers and washing basins. The second phase building will then be designated for women and the other building for men. We also have a total of 4 dishwashing points at both toilet blocks and a sceptic emptying point for chemical toilets. Waste and recycling bins for glass, paper/cardboard, cans and plastics are next to the main entrance to the campsite. Please recycle as much as you can. Please don't leave chairs, tables, carpets, sofas and other bulky items in our rubbish bins - please take them to the council tip. Fire extinguishers: these can be found at the water point in the main field behind the house, by the green toilet block, by the black toilet block and at reception. Our fire risk document is also at reception. Reception is at the back of the house. There you will find upon your arrival a site map with your name next to your pitch number. There is also local information, emergency numbers and information, tourist leaflets and some maps of local walking trails for sale. You can also buy our very free-range eggs and home-made jams, chutneys here. Please put the money in the honesty pot. We also have a fridge-freezer that you can use here. Opening Times: If you want to buy sausages/bacon, wood, hire a firepit or would like information about the local area please come by at the following times. Ring the bell at the back of the house, or if we are not there, look for us on the campsite/smallholding - we will be happy to help. 8am-9am 12-2pm 5pm-8pm In case of an emergency contact us at any time. Campfires are allowed in firepits (raised off of the ground) which we hire out. We also sell wood in £5 or £10 tubs. You are welcome to bring your own. There is also a receptacle, at the back of the house, provided for the safe disposal of ashes. Dogs on are very welcome and there is direct access from the campsite to acres of heathland, forest and fields which are great for dog walking. Please keep dogs on a secure lead while on the campsite and the smallholding. Please remember that this is a working smallholding with sheep and other livestock. We also have very free ranging chickens who do not like to be stressed or torn apart by dogs. Groups: We are happy for groups to come and stay, but we do ask that everyone who stays on our campsite be respectful and considerate of the other campers, the animals and us. Please don't make unreasonable noise after 10pm as some people might be trying to sleep - noise carries much further than you think outside.

Stonham Barns Caravan and Camping Park is a beautiful, family and dog friendly holiday location found close to the quaint Suffolk town of Stowmarket. The park is open all throughout the year, and welcomes guests with touring caravans, motorhomes and tents. The site also has a selection of static holiday homes available for hire, while a number of caravans are available for purchase for tourists looking to make Stonham Barns Caravan and Camping Park their permanent family holiday retreat. There are 60 pitches for caravans and motorhomes, with both grass and hardstanding pitches available. All pitches at the site have electric and water hook-ups, while facilities provided at the park include heated showers and a toilet block. There's a separate field in which guests can pitch their tents - and campers also have access to all the park's facilities. A handy on-site shop stocks local produce as well as other holiday essentials. Guests planning to return to Stonham Barns Caravan and Camping Park in the future can take advantage of affordably priced caravan storage that is offered by the park's management. This campsite is part of the larger Stonham Barns Retail and Leisure Village. Guests staying at the park can take advantage of everything offered across the larger site and get involved with all the great activities and events that happen throughout the year. The Stonham Barns Showground has events taking place each week, including car shows, craft fairs, car boot sales and much more. The open space is usually available throughout the week for ball games and other fun-filled family activities. In addition to the convenience store found on the caravan park, the retail village has a number of exceptional shops, where guests can buy everything from quirky holiday gifts such as pottery and jewellery to clothes and even a new family pet! The restaurant is open all year round and is regularly used by those who've pitched at this site. It serves food and drinks throughout the day and has a diverse menu that caters for all tastes. The fishing lake at the site is a great place to spend a day, whether guests are experienced anglers or have only just discovered this increasingly popular hobby. There's also a nine-hole golf course and a sizeable driving range. Guests looking to relax while not doing too much at all can check out the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary within the complex, which has daily bird shows as well as offering woodland walks and some great activities for children. If you want to visit Suffolk on your camping and caravan holidays, there are lots of things to do - and as this campsite is located just a short way off the A140, it's very accessible and positioned in such a way that it is easy to get out and see the county. Stonham Barns is about a half hour drive north of Ipswich and about a half hour drive east of Bury St Edmunds. You also explore the Suffolk coastline. There's the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve. Or maybe a traditional day beside the seaside appeals? If so, you could drive to Lowestoft in about an hour.
