River View Touring Park

River View Touring Park is definitely deserving of its many accolades.The park is located in the picturesque Carmarthenshire countryside. While the location is peaceful and away from the buzz of everyday life, the park is still easily in reach of a great number of attractions, the Gower Peninsula and the towns of Carmarthen and Swansea to name a few. River View Touring Park has pitching facilities for both Motorhomes and tents The park is open from early March to late December. Every pitch at River View park faces south so that you enjoy as much of the sunshine as possible during your stay. All pitches have dependable electricity hook-ups. River View park is divided into three areas: Wherever possible, the park aims to pitch complementary groups together, so couples will be away from families, for example. The park is inclusive of pets who are also allowed to travel to River View with you and enjoy the experience of camping in Carmarthenshire. The park is great for relaxing and exploring the countryside, you are also able to fish at the rivers running through the park. Additionally, there are a number of activities a close drive away. Beaches, swimming pools, and horse riding centres are all reachable within a 30-minute drive, the park is also close by to the Brecon Beacons National Park, which contains some of the best scenery and wildlife in Wales. The excellent local eateries give guests ample opportunity to feast on traditional dishes produced using locally sourced fresh ingredients. River View Touring Park is the perfect location for exploring South Wales, which has a wide variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy. River Wye Camping

The Wye Valley and Forest of Dean are rich in flora and fauna whether walking driving or canoeing. See the peregrine falcons flying over Yat Rock, buzzards soaring on thermals, kingfishers, herons, salmon jumping and even otters have recently been sighted. Within walking distance from the park is a good pub and restaurant in the village of Goodrich. Near bye Riverside Inns, river trips, and ferries across the river Wye at Symonds yat East and West Fishing available on site. Canoe hire bookings taken on site. Site must be vacated by 11.30am on day of departure unless arranged otherwise. An additional afternoon stay on departure day is charged at £5.00 per pitch. Peak season is July-end September Site location is a quarter mile off A40 sign posted Hereford A4137 and we are in the village of Marstow.

Pantglas is a quiet site set in the rolling hills of Pembrokeshire, with breathtaking views of Carmarthen Bay and the Gower peninsular. Our park is within easy reach of the pretty walled fishing harbour town of Tenby and the bustling resort of Saundersfoot. Along the south west coastline a number of golden sandy coves make perfect destinations for a relaxing day on the beach. For the more adventurous there are many activity centres and leisure parks within a 15 mile radius of the site. The park is set in four enclosures on a 14 acre site, consisting of 86 touring pitches, all of which are on hard standings with 10 amp electric hook-ups. There are also three specified camping areas for tents which are level and grassed.

The village of Freshwater East is just a nine-minute drive, or about an hour on foot, to the west of this campsite. Visit this village to take in the striking red sandstone cliffs, to enjoy a meal at the pub and walk the coast path - from here you can head to Stackpole Quay where you'll find a lovely cafe. There's also a delightful, sandy beach here, and the dunes behind the beach at Freshwater East form The Burrows, a nature reserve. The historic town of Pembroke is only a 15-minute drive from Tudor Glen Caravan Park, where you can visit Pembroke Castle. Tenby is also a 15- or 20-minute drive east. If you're in need of a more substantial settlement, Llanelli is about a 70-minute drive away, or head to Carmarthen which is just over 40 minutes way from this campsite by car. There are many campsites in Wales, but Tudor Glen Caravan Park's special location on the Pembrokeshire coast makes it a lovely place to pitch on your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays.
