PentreMawr is open from the beginning of March until the end of November, and welcomes families and pets to the site. The park offers fully serviced pitches for caravans, while there is also a luxury collection of privately owned holiday homes on the site, which has seen PentreMawr become a popular retreat for owners, with some even using it as a semi-retirement site.
The site owners are proud of the quiet community feel they have fostered in the park, so there are no clubs or shops available on site itself. However, the great location of this holiday park in North Wales means that a number of pubs, restaurants, and other leisure facilities are available within a short walking distance.
The local beach is merely yards away from the park entrance, while the PentreMawr park area features a combination of woodland for exploring, as well as two lakes where a relaxing day of fishing can be enjoyed. The park also gives immediate access to the coastal cycle path, meaning that energetic individuals or families can travel along the coastline to Colwyn Bay or Rhyl to make use of the facilities there and leave the car parked up on site.
A short drive to the west will quickly bring you to the northern portion of Gwydyr Forest Park, which in turn adjoins directly onto Snowdonia National Park, and offers a further range of terrain for you to explore and enjoy.
All of the popular towns and villages along the North Wales coast are within easy reach of this holiday park, which is excellent for a quiet break as well as experiencing some of the inspirational landscape that makes up the surrounding area.
