Park Description

Brynowen Holiday Park set on the west coast of Wales is perfect for the beach or exploring Snowdonia National Park, with views and landscape that you would struggle to find elsewhere in the world, let alone in the UK.

Brynowen is open from March to November and welcomes motorhomes and touring caravans on hard standing pitches. In addition, Brynowen Holiday Park is also proud to offer well-equipped holiday homes for hire during the season, while those who fall in love with the Welsh landscape can consider purchasing a motorhome to use as a permanent holiday retreat. The whole family can enjoy the indoor pool and paddling pool, while those who aren’t too water friendly can indulge in ball games and much more on the all-weather sports court. There are also children’s clubs catering from toddlers and all age groups up to 16, meaning that if parents want some relaxation time themselves, their needs are met.

Brynowen in the evening is filled with the excitement of music, dancing, shows, and competitions.

This area of Wales is known for its beauty and nearby is the town of Aberystwyth. The seafront is, of course, a focal point with its mile long Promenade popular with all visitors. Aberystwyth Pier is famous for its bars, nightclubs, amusement arcade and an ice cream parlour. Looming large over the northern end of the Promenade, Constitution Hill, with a quaint electric cliff railway taking you to the top, boasts a Camera Obscura, through which is reflected an all-round view of the town and its surrounding countryside onto a screen.

History buffs will enjoy a day at the Ceredigion Museum, housed in the old Coliseum Theatre, where a diverse collection of exhibits demonstrate the history of Abersytwyth and the county of Ceredigion.
Be a part of history and take a ride on the Vale of Rheidol Railway, a steam train service running through the Rheidol Valley, on a narrow gauge track and with sharply winding curves, terminating at Devil’s Bridge. From here, you can visit three bridges that cross the river or continue on to visit other attractions such as Mynach Falls, Devil’s Punch Bowl and Jacob’s Ladder.

Whatever your interest, from fishing to mountain biking or golf to history, Brynowen is the ideal base to enjoy any activity you fancy, at your leisure.

Park dean Borth very bad service for the price charged. Just back from a Easter break at Borth park dean site staying on there touring "Hard standing" pitches. Where do I begin!! The booking process was difficult as didn't really want Friday to Friday holiday but was told this was all we could book. On arrival we booked in and was told to take our pick of any available pitches, most pitches were covered by abandoned static caravans but we're then moved to one side with a tractor which churned up the already bogged and water logged pitches. The hard standing pitches were not large enough for any standard size caravan in length and bearly in width. The newly refurbished (not finished) toilet blocks located amongst the static vans and so used by them regularly, as there was only 1 shower per female and 1 male there was often a que and worse still no hot water resulting in stone cold showers. There was no waste water drainage point and the washing up / Elson point facilities were not fit for purpose, dirty and to put it mildly run down. Complaints were made both to the general manager on site and customer services via email to be told the weather had been bad and this couldn't be helped. Would not use park dean sites again.
