Park Reviews
Add A ReviewWE HAVE VISITED AUCHENLARIE OFTEN IN THE LAST FEW YEARS THROUGH SUN HOLIDAYS. WE FIND THE PARK TO BE VERY QUIET CONSIDERING THE CLUB NEARBY. AS WE HAVE A DOG WE DO NOT GET TO GO TO THE FACILITIES BUT WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD A GREAT TIME THERE. IT IS SO RELAXING. CAN'T FAULT IT. THE FAMILY AND STAFF WHO RUN THE PARK ARE FIRST CLASS. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO VISTING AGAIN IN JUNE 2010. Auchenlarie Holiday Park, Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland

I was a little disapointed with my last holdiay. The facilities havent improved much and the entertainment is not of a good quality. You need to be looking elsewhere for your next holiday or they need to improve the park standards

Lovely park, magnificent views. Very friendly staff, really good entertainment in rather noisy clubhouse. Apart from that the park is very quiet. Location is excellent (you are within 1 hr of great fishing, walking, golf and shopping in Dumfries) yet far from the madding crowd. I liked it so much I bought a static caravan there!

Have been to this park several times and have found it to be of a very high standard. Location is beautiful and people who work there freindly. Will come back again. good place for families and also for couples. and although some people might think it is issolated you will find that everything you need is on site. it is also ideal for touring Galloway and my son says the fly fishing in the area is very good.
