Directions
Immediately having reached the Anglesey shore, via the Britannia Bridge or the Menai Bridge, follow the signs to Menai Bridge town centre, then onwards to Beaumaris via the A545. On arrival at Beaumaris continue along the main road through the town centre, passing the Castle on the left and follow the road along the coast. Ignore the first junction on the left and continue along the coast road following it inland. At the crossroads (approximately 1/2 mile after turning away from the sea) take the left turn signposted for Llanfaes and Kingsbridge. The park entrance is 400 yards down the lane on the right.
Park Reviews
Add A ReviewBooked for seven nights - but stayed for eight without problem. This is a family operated site - the owner-operators provide an exemplary friendly atmosphere for those who wish to enjoy the highest quality camping experience in this quiet rural location which is within easy reach of all parts of Anglesey and North Wales. The site is disciplined for everyone's enjoyment and relaxation - quiet order after 11.00pm - excellent. The key feature, after the location, must be the excellent shower block facilities which are heated, well serviced and kept very clean. Probably the best we've experienced anywhere in the UK and Europe. Facilities include two shower blocks; a small children's play area and a small shop with a wide range of pertinent products including gas supplies. Kingsbridge provides a range of pitches - the majority of which have electric points: a facilities-free 'back to nature' field surrounded by bushes and trees; an 'adults' quiet meadow field well equipped with hard-standings for touring vans and two family fields which are also well equipped with electric points. There is a discrete static caravan park within the site. A few tent pitches are on gently sloping ground which makes things interesting but this is easily corrected. The site is run in sympathy with the rural environment, energy and nature conservation. It is, in short, simply brilliant.

The owners run a tight ship which means for campers wanting a safe and tranquil site a thoroughly enjoyable experience. If people want to camp in a non regulated and noisy site then I suggest they go elsewhere. We have been visiting the site for years and love the quiet, safe environment it offers. The facilities are clean and well maintained and its environmental sensitivity is an added bonus.

I want to thank the owners for responding when a family group who were disturbing me and the other guests making a lot of noise at about midnight, Children were screaming, As the site has the condition of quiet after 11pm, It seems they were asked to leave.

Summary: A superb campsite run by friendly caring owners - highly recommended Overall: 10 / 10 Location: 10 / 10 Value for Money: 10 / 10 Quality of Accommodation: 10 / 10 Facilities/Activities: 10 / 10 Customer Service: 10 / 10 Child Friendliness: 10 / 10 Cleanliness: 10 / 10 Wifi: 10 / 10 Liked: I have just returned from spending 3 days at this campsite, staying in a static caravan with two friends. The setting of the campsite is absolutely beautiful; rural and secluded but very convenient for Beaumaris and the rest of the Island. We were on a short walking holiday and the campsite was ideally suited to our needs. The static caravans were spaciously situated with ample room and well tended lawns between each one allowing for privacy from other visitors though not from the two or three rabbits who paid us a visit each morning, playing on the grass! The shower/toilet blocks would not be out of place in a top hotel - whoever heard of campsite toilets with underfloor heating!! And everything was absolutely spotless and of a superb quality. The owners, Marian and Andy, were very friendly and extremely helpful and really made the effort to ensure we had everything we needed. They appeared to enjoy a good relationship with all the customers we encountered and the whole atmosphere was one of relaxation and friendliness. As it was the end of September there were few touring caravans and tents on the site but their pitches appeared to be spacious and in many cases provided with electric hook-ups. Apparently more are due to be installed before next season. There was also a pleasant play area for children. For those visitors without children there are adult only areas, which seemed like a good idea. All in all our experience at Kingsbridge Caravan site far exceeded any expectations we may have had and we shall be strongly recommending it to friends and family and will certainly be returning ourselves. Disliked: Absolutely nothing - except for the fact that we could not stay any longer! Would they recommend this to a friend? yes Would they stay here again? yes

We have just arrived home and packed away our camping gear, after a lovely Friday & Saturday night stay. What a wonderful campsite! We have already recommended it to some friends and family and hope to return soon ourselves. The facilities at your site are great, the standard is very high. We were extremely impressed. Thank you for such a great place for us to escape to.

We have tried to find a way to review you on the CCC and your own websites without success – please accept the following about our stay (tent, Sat and Sun) earlier this week: We were very impressed by the shower blocks as they were absolutely immaculate and we find this very rarely on a campsite. The showers themselves were hot and big enough to hang up clothes etc without them getting wet, again a rarity. The campsite was quiet at night and we found an easy way to walk into Beaumaris from it (over the golf course). Washing up facilities were good and we appreciated the environmental efforts.
