Directions

From the M5, join the A38 towards Plymouth.

Leave the A38 signed for Modbury & Ermington onto the A3121 at Wrangaton Cross.
Once you reach the top of the slip road off the A38, Moor View is signposted. Just follow the signs.
Once you get to 'California Cross' go past the petrol station and pub; follow the road out of the village and round to the right, Moor View will be found on the left hand side in a quarter of a mile.

Moor View is an adult only site situated near Modbury in Devon overlooking the south of dartmoor. The approach road can be a little narrow at times but only 5 miles from the main A38. Upon arrival we were met by Edward the Owner, his welcome was one of the friendlyist weve had. A good introduction to the site was given whilst booking in and then given a site guide with vacant pitches marked so we could choose which pitch we wanted. Each pitch was hard standing and had electric hook up with fresh and wast water points. The pitch prices range in pitch size and time of year, no extra cost is charged for awnings, we had the smalllest of pitches but it was ample for our 2 birth caravan with a porch awning and car. The toilet block was spotless for the whole of our short stay, The site has 2 dog walks but 1 was flooded whilst we were their and the other was very wet as well. Being close to Dartmoor we spent a day walking on the moor, we also spent a day in plymouth. Bigbury sands isabout 6/7 miles away, also Kingsbridge is within 15 miles. All in all the site is a very good base for exploring south devon, and definatly a site we will be retuning to. Moor View Touring Park, Modbury, Devon
