Park Description

Adults Only Campsite in Bath

Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park is a multi-award-winning 5-star adults-only campsite in Somerset. Based on a garden theme, the park features pitches set amongst lawns, trees and flower beds, with sculptures marking the divisions between pitches.

A peaceful park in a picturesque village location, this very quiet, pretty and well-maintained campsite was voted overall winner in Practical Caravan's Top 100 and is North East Somerset's only five-star park. So much thought has gone into the running of Bath Chew Valley: the pitches are large and well landscaped, there are luxury, heated washrooms, free ironing and freezer facilities, a lending library, on-site Wi-Fi and a free-to-use computer, a motorhome waste-disposal point, a recycling point, a conservation area and even a dedicated dog-walking area. There is also a car available for hire if you want to leave your motorhome on-site and go exploring. In addition, the site owners will put your caravan on your pitch for you on arrival.

Open all year round, the park has 45 pitches, all of which are hardstanding with electric hook-ups, and it is good to know that late arrivals can be accommodated, too. All cars must be kept in the well-lit car park, which helps ensure that the site looks neat and tidy. There is also 24-hour CCTV for peace of mind, while an electric barrier at the site's entrance provides an extra level of security. Stay in the cedar lodge or bring your tent, motorhome or caravan to Bath Chew Valley. Seasonal pitches are also available.

Dog-friendly campsite in Somerset

This is a very dog-friendly campsite, but the site also permits other animals to stay. If you're thinking of taking your dog, cat or any other pet to Bath Chew Valley, it is worth checking out the campsite's comprehensive 'Welcome Pet Policy' in advance or talking to the site's staff. The attractions of this campsite are not limited to its facilities, though.

This park is close to a championship fishing lake and 5 golf courses, while the beautiful destinations of Bristol, Bath and Wells are within easy reach as well as miles and miles of stunning Somerset countryside and the Mendip Hills.

Take a walk from Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park and in a few minutes you will find yourself in the village of Bishop Sutton, with a small but well-stocked shop that's handy for topping up your supplies, and there's also a pub. There is a choice of several eateries serving great food within 10 minutes of the site!

This site is exclusively for adults only and features luxury solo bathrooms, hire cars, ice pack freezing facilities, a large lending library and tourist information. Bath Chew Valley's knowledgeable staff can provide guests with information about local walks, public transport links, local taxi companies and more, to help you make the most of your camping holiday in Somerset.

Very clean and nice site. Wash rooms were exceptional staff all very friendly. Found it strange having to drop our van at the front gate where it was taken to my pitch for me by tractor, and that we were not allowed to keep the car on the pitch. Really good pub short walk from the site. Would recommend it.

Very nice site. Electric hook up was a bit low on amps at night time. Local pub's food and beer excellent. Visit the new Bath spa is a must. They are happy to put your van on pit and remove at the end of your stay. Parking your in the car park seemed a bit strange at first but I liked it in the end.
