One of the best holiday parks in Cornwall, the multi-award-winning Tehidy is set in a beautiful wooded valley in Redruth just minutes from stunning beaches.
Previously voted one of the top three campsites in Europe with the Alan Rogers 'Best Small Sites in Europe', Tehidy Holiday Park is also a David Bellamy Gold Award eco site.
Family-owned and run, the park welcomes tents, tourers, and motorhomes, as well as offering its own holiday caravans, self-catering cottages and wooden camping pods (glamping 'wigwams') for hire.
Ideally located in the centre of Cornwall, Tehidy Holiday Park is within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, just minutes from local beaches and close to many of Cornwall's favourite attractions.
The local village of Illogan (where the character Demelza from Poldark came from) offers a range of facilities including a specialist Cornish pasty shop. All the clean modern amenities you would expect in an award-winning holiday park are here, including wheelchair-friendly features (although the site is set on the side of a valley, so access to some facilities requires assistance), plus self-catering and glamping options if you're staying with non-touring friends.
Touring caravans, motor caravans and tents are welcome and well catered for, in specially reserved areas. Electric hook-up is available. A purpose-built block includes a laundrette, dishwashing facilities, toilets and showers. Wooden picnic tables are provided for your convenience.
Tehidy is a child-friendly and pet-free caravan park in Cornwall. Families are welcome and there's a lovely children’s play area with a trampoline, swings and a climbing frame. The park also has a shop that sells wine, beer and spirits. There's a games room with a television, pool tables, board games and a library. After a day on the beach, it's also good to know that there's also a handy launderette on site.
Tehidy Holiday Park is close to a beautiful expanse of sandy beach, which makes it the perfect place for family breaks, camping, touring, motorhome or self-catering holidays in Cornwall, a romantic getaway for two, or an active watersports holiday.
On-site there are also modern two-bedroom cottages (sleeping up to five people), which are equipped to a high standard. Two of the cottages are wheelchair-friendly and built to English Tourist Board Accessibility Scheme Grade Category 2. All have exclusive parking and patios with tables and chairs.
The wonderful new 4-bedroom holiday cottage (sleeps up to 8 people) has 2 x double bedrooms (the master bedroom has an en suite), 2 x 2 twin rooms with central heating, a conservatory, dishwasher, washing machine and large patio garden with furniture.
Holiday caravans for hire have either one, two or three bedrooms. All are carefully presented and equipped with mains electricity, hot and cold water, flush toilets, showers, refrigerators, cookers, heating and colour television. Duvets and pillows are provided.

We stayed for two weeks in a chalet,It is one for disabled persons. We found it very spacious fully equipped and very comfortable. The site is very quiet and secluded. Although not level did not create a problem. We were able to park outside the front door of the chalet.
Although we stayed in a chalet we noticed that the facilities for camping were excellent, each site being individual and reasonably private. All in All we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
