Park Reviews
Add A ReviewJust returned from a bank holiday weekend and had a great time. Received a warm welcome by the warden who was helpful and personally took us to our pitch to help with the caravan. The toilet block and showers have been rebuilt and are modern, clean and warm. All pitches are now hard standing and electric hook up/water. The added bonus of a skate park for older children is great and there is a play park. The shop is ok not the biggest I've seen on campsites but Bamburgh is only one mile away. There is also an excellent garage and restaurant/bar at the top of the main A1 road which we enjoyed a very reasonably priced Sunday roast.

First impressions of site are good - well maintained grounds. But when you get to the facilities for tourers they are shocking. There are two showers that you can hardly turn around in let alone take you and your children into. The lights dont come on till its dark so as soon as you shut the door your in darkness. The toilet area is stuck in a time warp which is fine if they were kept clean but they arent. All in all i would not recommend this site.

The touring facilities and toilets have all been updated in the last couple of years and are a much needed improvement. Thank you
