Talywerydd Touring and Camping Park

Talywerydd Touring and Camping Park is a small and charming holiday location found on the picturesque west coast of Wales. The site is open all through the year, and offers an ideal escape for families looking to get away from it all and enjoy a tranquil, relaxing break. This campsite welcomes guests with touring caravans and tents. Seasonal pitches are available, as are a small number of hardstanding pitches. A rally field is also available at the park. Facilities offered to guests at Talywerydd Touring and Camping Park include a toilet and shower block (showers are metered), water points, chemical waste disposal and a camper's kitchen, which houses a washing up area and a small laundry area. The park is lit throughout the night, yet not in an invasive manner. This is a dog friendly campsite and a large field is designated for dog walking. Owners are reminded to clean up after their pets and to keep them under control. There is also an area set aside for ball games and plenty of open spaces available for other fun activities. The park reception doubles as a handy tourist information area, great for tourists looking to plan their day on the stunning Welsh coast, while just 600 yards away from the site is an award winning farm shop, which sells a range of excellent foods. If you visit Wales on your camping and caravan holidays and pitch at Talywerydd Touring and Camping Park, you will no doubt be inspired by the views that can be enjoyed in all directions from the site. The park is elevated, overlooking the coastline and miles of countryside, meaning guests have a number of brilliant exploration opportunities within a short distance of this site. Four beautiful beaches are within walking distance of the park. All of them are great for families, although there is also the opportunity to indulge in adrenalin-fuelled activities such as surfing and wakeboarding. The nearest beach, at Penbryn, is protected and managed by the National Trust. Guests looking to simply enjoy the landscape can take the Wales Coast Path, as seeing this area on foot is one of the best ways to discover it. A 15- to 20-minute drive south of this campsite is the ancient town of Cardigan, a handy place to have nearby as you can pick up groceries here, maybe enjoy a meal out, or you could visit Cardigan Castle or join the Ceredigion Coastal Path. You could even take a boat trip and see the dolphins in Cardigan Bay. And beyond Cardigan lies the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where dramatic sea views and diverse habitats are waiting to be explored. Just 10 minutes by car from Talywerydd Touring and Camping Park is the village of Aberporth, with a wonderful, Blue Flag beach. While about a 50-minute drive north, but still in Ceredigion, you'll find yourself in Aberystwyth, a university town where you can tour the castle, ride the cliff railway, go to the Magic of Life Butterfly House and walk on the Royal Pier. Talywerydd Touring and Camping Park's proximity to the A487 makes it a useful base from which to discover west Wales.

arrived at the park expecting great things from the review , got here and no one around .telephoned the number on the reception goes on to answer phone. two people sat outside said go to the static and showed us the one to go to. Lady there told us to find a pitch and see some one in the morning but need to pay £5 for electric ,that we did. On speaking to the only other persons we could find were told that the bar and food place only opens on weekends. Thought o well will have to see, went to the toilet block and found one toilet blocked ,not very good as no body on site? in the end we went to another place ,dont think we will be going back .
