The Willows

The Willows is a stunning caravan park and one of the very best in Gloucestershire. The park is open from March to January, and offers a range of serviced touring pitches that welcome motorhomes, caravans, and tents. There is also a number of permanent static homes based at the site, and if you get the opportunity to buy one it is well recommended that you take up the offer. The park is split into two areas that both offer amazing views of the surrounding landscape. A section of the River Severn is only 100metres from the edge of the park, and is a perfect place to spend a relaxing day fishing - all you need to do is pick up a permit from the building next to the river, which happens to be a pub that serves great food and the best local ales available. The Willows is a short distance outside of Tewkesbury, which is filled with an eclectic combination of local independent stores and larger brands, as well as entertainment and leisure facilities and a supermarket for stocking up on your holiday essentials. The M5 motorway is also within easy reach, and the historic towns and cities of Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Worcester are all just a short drive away. You are also close to the Welsh border, so if you wish to explore even more countryside of even check out Brecon Beacons National Park, you can get there and back easily within the day. Rural areas such as this are always amazing for their friendly villages and hidden charms, and there are many for you to find in this area. For a relaxing holiday retreat and a gateway to some of Gloucestershire's most amazing places, as well as attractions further afield, The Willows is definitely the place to stay.

Need to share this gem of a campsite. We stayed last year, as it’s such a great location as an ideal stop off along the M5. We came with our sons and took the family dog. The staff welcomed us with a really warm welcome and we were given lots of information about the campsite. Ample spacing between the pitches, took away all Covid concerns and facilities were spotless with hand sanitizer available freely. We were informed about keeping our dog on a lead and noticed everyone else did the same. Although busy, we weren’t disturbed by the other campers and we enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay.

We stayed here with our two girls and had a relaxing stay. Sam was a delightful host and helped us with our problematic caravan and when out of her way to help so we had working lights in our van. Nothing was too much trouble and we even enjoyed her fresh farm eggs . Well run clean site . We will certainly be retuning when Covid allows us to visit .
