we where so happy with this camping! the couple checking us in was lovely (great sense of humor) and al the faciilies where clean, in good condition and close to the tentspots. there was a children area that looked so fun and the trees provide shade and shelter from the weather. The little town is only a 5 minute drive away and has a convient supermarked … and great fish and chips shop. the overall surroundings are beautiful and both Glasgow and Edinburg are only an hour away. we will for sure be coming back in the future!

Very nice location with an off-road ~30 minute walk to nearby Aberfoyle for shops, pubs, etc. Staff very helpful and friendly Toilet and shower facilities were spotless. The best we had on our 2-weeks in Scotland. Time of Stay: 21 September 2022 Unit Type: Motorhome

The camp ground was quiet and very clean. Great access to Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Our first camper van experience was great!

We camped at cobleland in August 2022 with 3 kids. The experience was amazing. The wardens were great the campsite had an amazing atmosphere with kids all playing together. The river runs right beside the campsite which is beautiful with people swimming/fishing and a very short walk (not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies) up to a huge grass picnic … area with a beach suitable for swimming or going in small boats etc was amazing. It is very handy for a short drive or a walk to Aberfoyle. Also very close to Callander. We went to Loch Katrine to hire bikes and enjoy the beach there. We can’t wait to come back.

Just home from 3 nights staying in our tent, we had a pitch with electric and was in a fantastic location. The staff especially Jan & Russ are are a credit to the site and were so helpful with showing us to our pitch and also giving advice on best way to pitch, for only being at the site for 5 weeks they sure know how to treat guests. Well done and hope to see you again on our next visit.

We stayed at Cobleland for two nights in July and could not fault the site. It was peaceful spotless clean and the staff are excellent to deal with. If you are looking for a super quiet break to just chill and relax this is the place. A couple of miles walk either along the old railway path or through the forest along the riverbank and you are in aberfoyle where there is many places to eat, drink and wander the little shops.

On arrival staff were professional and friendly giving enough info. Found pitch to be just right, and facilities were clean and to a good standard of maintenance and cleanliness. Facilities were ideal for our stay and staff on hand when required. We took 3 dogs and it was definitely a pet friendly site. A lovely setting and a must for a revisit
