Jubilee Park Camping & Caravan Park

Open every year from early April to early November, Jubilee Park is one of the most beautiful holiday parks in Lincolnshire, and is found in the picturesque village of Woodhall Spa, five minutes from the charming village centre. The park has a total of 85 pitches, and welcomes guests with motorhomes, touring caravans, and tents, as well as trailer tents and folding caravans. An additional rally field is available at Jubilee Park, which has a capacity of approximately 40 rally pitches. All of the pitches at Jubilee Park are grass pitches, with 73 fully maintained and serviced with electric hook-ups. All pitches are close to the on-site communal facilities, which include showers, a toilet block, water supplies, washing up and laundry facilities, and chemical waste disposal points. There are plenty of activities on offer to guests that stay at Jubilee Park, including a heated outdoor swimming and paddling pool, a recently refurbished children's play park, and tennis, croquet, table tennis, bowling, and a putting green. A range of events are held at Jubilee Park during its open season, including 'Picnic in the Park,' a 1940s Festival, and Midnight Swims in the swimming pool. The park also hosts car boot sales during the summer, so guests often find themselves heading home with much more than they arrived with at the start of their stay! Woodhall Spa has plenty of local businesses, in addition to pubs and restaurants, for guests to stock up on their holiday essentials and refreshments during their stay. The village is famous for its historic estates and outdoor recreation opportunities. The Manor House and The Tower-on-the-Moor are both brilliant locations to visit. Guests interested in exploring the outdoors can head into Jubilee Park itself, which is adjacent to the Camping & Caravan Park. The Pinewoods are beautiful woodlands, that you can explore at leisure, despite the fact that they are in the grounds of the village's Victoria Hotel. The vintage Kinema in the Woods is a popular attraction at the centre of The Pinewoods, and is the only cinema in the United Kingdom to use back projection. The Viking Way footpath runs through Woodhall Spa, although at 147 miles long guests aren't going to manage to walk it all during their stay! However, the Spa Trail is a 3.3 mile section of the path that offers a peaceful walking route through beautiful woodland, with not a car in sight. Cyclists can head out onto the Water Rail Way, a cycle trail that runs from Boston to Lincoln and passes through the village. Both towns are worth exploring on two wheels if the campsite guests fancy getting active and burning some energy on holiday. Woodhall Spa is also famous for its two excellent golf courses, the Hotchkin, which has been named as one of the best inland golf courses in the UK, and the Bracken. The sandy heathland is so well drained that the golf courses offer soft springy turf all year round. Elsewhere, guests will find the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty a short drive from the park, while the beautiful east coast of England is just a short drive away. King's Lynn and the beauty of the north Norfolk coast are also within reach and offer wonderful sandy beaches, woodland, heathland, a chance to spot rare wild birds, and much more. Jubilee Park Camping and Caravan Park is a luxurious location to choose as a retreat for your caravan holidays in Lincolnshire. It is a great base for exploring Woodhall Spa and the surrounding area.

This is an award winning campsite, as it has featured in the Top 100 Sites Guide put together by Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazines and Caravan Sitefinder in 2013 and in 2014. As just one of nine sites listed in the Eastern England region of this go-to guide, it is surely one of the best campsites in the UK. The site also has a four-pennant AA rating as well as four stars from EnjoyEngland. Caravans, motorhomes, RVs and tents are welcomed at Petwood Caravan Park to stay on the 98 pitches, eight of which are hardstanding and all of which have 16A electric hook-ups. Guests have the use of the two modern shower and toilet blocks that are heated and have disabled facilities. There are also two laundrettes, one at each amenity block, both of which have a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Those staying on site can also use the park's microwave and ice pack freezing facility. This is a dog friendly campsite, up to two hounds permitted at each pitch, at no extra charge - plus, there is a dog walking area at Petwood Caravan Park. You can keep stocked up on your holiday essentials at the campsite's shop, while there is a newspaper service at weekends and in high season. There is also a library with reading material for children and adults to enjoy. Plan your holiday's activities at the campsite's tourist information point - and you won't be disappointed, there is lots to do in the surrounding area. Petwood Caravan Park is close to the centre of the village of Woodhall Spa, through which the B1191 runs, this road taking you to the A158 near Horncastle to the north, from where you can easily explore the area. Or drive north west across country and visit lovely Lincoln, with its cathedral and castle. Fancy a round of golf? Woodhall Spa Golf Club is very near this campsite. This is a stunning part of the country, indeed its beauty is often overlooked. Meander through the countryside and visit Bardney Limewoods National Nature Reserve on your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays in Lincolnshire, one of many places across the county where you can learn more about the natural environment. There is also the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, dotted with pretty villages, including the birthplace of poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson, as well as rolling hills, streams and much more. For something a bit different that is sure to keep all members of the family entertained, why not take a 20-minute drive from this campsite to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. Based on a 1940s RAF Lancaster bomber airfield, there are a range of events on throughout the year - the site even hosts dances and concerts. And, of course, you are also less than an hour from the Lincolnshire coast which is well worth a trip on your camping and caravan holidays. Skegness is about a 45-minute drive from Petwood Caravan Park, as is Ingoldmells - and while you're over there, you can take time to enjoy Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve.
