Park Reviews
Add A ReviewMy wife an I stayed in one of the static caravans on the site and really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was spotless and we are fussy about cleanliness! The site was very pretty with lots of flowers, palm trees, a stream and lots of wildlife. We saw pheasants, a badger and lots of different birds. We went at a quieter time which suited us but I could see why it appealed to families as there were lots of facilities including a lovely pool, children's park and games room. We would definitely go again.

I stayed at calloose Caravan Park twice last year. I stayed in caravan number 12 in June with my husband. The van was spotlessly clean, normally I take a little cleaning pack with me but I didn’t need it here. It is in a beautiful location in a peacefully valley, not too far from anywhere. About 10 minutes to either coast The second time I visited I took my grandchildren in the summer holidays as there is more going on for them. It was busy but I suppose all good sites are that time of year. The children loved the big play area and the pool my grandson won some money on the family quiz night on the yes no game which made his holiday, and the girls loved the disco, all in all a great family holiday. The grandchildren are already asking if we can go back next year.

Do not follow the first sign for the site 'cos you will need a 4 x 4 to get your Caravan back in the correct turn off,we have not,but a helpful family dragged our caravan back on the road. Girls if you like cold showers visit them later on in the day, Boys you are ok your showers are cold any time of the day. We are a healthy mature couple but my partner did his shoulder in dragging water carriers up & down the steep steps.

Sadly we had bad weather but a very nice caravan and we were very comfortable. The site is very well presented clean and quiet with all the facilities a family could wish for. We highly recommend it.

Excellent Park. We had a difficult week with the weather (can't review that here - would'nt be fair!!) but even so the friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities made our holiday a success. Situated in a fantastic location (everywhere we wanted to go was on the doorstep it seemed) with good pitches there is little to complain about, very nice site.
