At Whitehill Country Park, we have it all covered under one roof! Our Hayloft Bar and Terrace serve traditional home cooked meals in a restaurant setting, its ground floor serving as a Café and Takeaway. On-site facilities also include a Country Shop selling a delicious range of local produce. Park Reviews
Add A ReviewWe stayed at this site as two groups. We, (my partner and I), were staying on a pitch on the touring fields. My elderly mum and her companion stayed in one of the statics. The static was looking a bit tired, and we encountered a few problems with it. However, I have to say, the problems were dealt with very quickly and efficiently by the Whitehill Country Park staff. So, well done for that. One thing noticed, was that there were no facilities for sitting outside the static, to take advantage of any summer sunshine. We went to the camp site restaurant for a meal on our first night, suffice to say that it was our one and only visit to that facility!!!! We did find a local pub which did a brilliant Sunday Carvery and a very good menu with specials for the rest of the week. The camp shop was very well stocked, and there were supermarkets within fairly easy reach for the bigger shop. The toilet and shower block closest to our tourer was looking a bit tired, but was generally clean and fairly well maintained. As mentioned by previous reviews, quite a few of the pitches were sloping, even our hard standing pitch was on a slope, but it could be an advantage when it rained heavily, as long as you pitched to take advantage of the slope. This was a good site to use as a base, as there was plenty to do and see, close by.

Stayed at this park only last week. Had a really great holiday. Lovely clean park with good facilities - nice large clean swimming pool and excellent entertainment in the evening. The staff were always pleased to help us and it's in a great location (close to the beach and torbay but surrounded by country side!). Will definately be back next year!
