Devon Holiday Park with Swimming Pool

Wooded valleys, sandy beaches, peace, quiet, walking trails and big-city entertainment - you'll find them all on and around the award-winning Bovisand Lodge Holiday Park.

This family-run holiday park near Plymouth lies a stone's throw from the beach in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With its own indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and other fantastic facilities, this is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Devon.

The South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a stunning area of coastline, estuaries and countryside speckled with picturesque villages and hamlets. It's also home to two National Nature Reserves. Bovisand lies nestled within a wooded valley that sweeps down into a secluded, unspoilt sandy beach. Views from the beach open out over the bay and across to the Cornish coast.

The many walking trails that lead through the glorious local landscapes include a section of the nationally renowned South West Coast Path. Keep an eye on the sky as you walk. The area is a haven for magnificent rare birds including buzzards and hawks. Swim in the sea, relax on the sand, and explore the rock pools with your children on the beach just a two-minute walk from the park.

Play golf on the nearby course and get a dose of excitement on and below the waves at the local water activity centre. Spend a day or an evening in Plymouth, just 6 miles away. Onsite, there is a new kids' play park with trim trail, table tennis, badminton and football facilities, a woodland nature trail, plenty of open space. The park's friendly resident goats and chickens add to the relaxed atmosphere of the natural surroundings. There's also a laundrette, and Wi-FI is available. Bovisand is open from January to December.

Choose from a fantastic range of holiday accommodation available to rent or purchase including double glazed, centrally-heated static caravans, heritage self-catered holiday apartments in the wing of a historic Grade 2 listed country house, and luxury lodges with ensuite wet rooms.

Facilities at the Bovisand Lodge Holiday Park include an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, a small children's play park with swings, ropes, springy, climbing tower and trim trail and an area for table tennis, badminton and football nets. There is plenty of open space for kite flying, cricket and rounders. We have a woodland walk with brass rubbing trail and friendly goats and chickens!
