Northey Lodge Storage and Touring Park

Northey Lodge Storage and Touring Park is a caravan park found in a secluded location close to Peterborough in the heart of Cambridgeshire. The park is open all throughout the year, although new arrivals cannot head to the park from Christmas to New Year, however guests that are already staying at the site and have made a booking are welcome to stay during the festive period. Northey Lodge also has an extensive, high security storage area, which can be used by guests looking to return to the park in the future, although is also used by those staying at other parks who are seeking an affordable storage solution in the area. Seasonal pitches are offered, though early booking of these is recommended. Seasonal pitches are usually accessible between May and September, though specific dates will be confirmed by the park owners upon enquiry. Although families are welcome at the park, the site is most often frequented by single adults and couples looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in the country. Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at the park, with a dog walking area found around the perimeter of a separate large field that is often used for caravan rallies. The park welcomes guests with touring caravans, motorhomes, tents and trailer tents, and offers a selection of grass and hardstanding pitches. Most of the pitches found at Northey Lodge Storage and Touring Park benefit from electric hook-ups, while additional facilities available for guests' comfort and convenience include showers, toilets and a laundrette. A tourist information cabin at the park is invaluable for guests looking to plan their days out. The site is adjacent to the north bank of the River Nene, with fishing available at numerous spots along the river as well as at a handful of nearby ponds. Lovers of the great outdoors will find miles of excellent countryside walks - the Fens has much for walkers and cyclists to enjoy. Northey Lodge Storage and Touring Park is about a 15-minute drive from the centre of Peterborough, making the city a handy place to go for a meal out or to top up on your everyday essentials and camping accessories. You could also visit Peterborough Cathedral with its very impressive frontage or head to the Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery. If you'd like to visit Cambridge, it's about an hour from this caravan park by car, this historic city with plenty to occupy you, from the university's colleges and chapels to its cobbled streets, the pretty River Cam, the great shopping and much more. Indeed, if you like impressive architecture, visit Burghley House, just outside Stamford, which is about a 35-minute drive from this park. From Northey Lodge Storage and Touring Park you could also visit Norfolk on your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays. In just under an hour you could be in King's Lynn, and just beyond that, are The Wash National Nature Reserve and Dersingham Bog National Nature Reserve. Whatever time of year you choose to stay at Northey Lodge Storage and Touring Park, there will be plenty to keep you busy and you'll receive a warm welcome.
