Add A Reviewi will never again im my life be at this caravan site. very unorganised had to find my own pitch. cramped conditions. brought my children to the toilet at night to find a bunch of teenagers drinking and using foul language and snogging among other things. the toilets had no hand wask in them and only 1 toilet roll in the block this was the case in both male and female toilets. they were also FILTHY. had paid for friday and saturday night but left first thing on saturday morning. asked for a refund was told where to go. tried to explain why and the owner made me out to be a complete LIAR and told me to basically F*** OFF. WARNING THIS SITE IS NOT SUTIABLE FOR FAMILYS WITH YOUNG KIDS ITS TOO CRAMPED AND THE FACILITIES ARE ROTTEN. DIFFERENT IF YOU HAVE A STATIC AS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN FACALITIES. BENONE TOURIST COMPLEX IS AROUND THE CORNER AND DEGIHANS ALSO. GO TO THESE SITES AS I HAVE TRIED BENONE AND MY FRIEND HAS TRIED DEGIHANS THEY ARE FAR BETTER AND MORE FAMILY ORIENTATED BETTER AND CLEANER FACALITIES AND A LOT LESS NOISE AND FILTH.

We own a static caravan here and I couldn't recommend this park more! The situation is amazing, the site and facilities well looked after and kept clean and tidy. Had a tourer before and I can say you will find it hard to find a site anywhere in Ireland as good. There's a kids park, shop and fish n chip shop on site. It's great for kids because its far from busy roads and right next to the beach. We came in a tourer here until June this year and regarding the previous reviewers post about electric, I can say that over Easter a generator is used to boost parks supply and to turn it on safely, part of the park needed to be turned off. It was only for a few minutes. Other than that, we never had a problem. Some touring caravans would trip the power box outside because they were simply running too many heaters etc. This happens at any site. So, I'd recommend anyone to visit, you won't be disappointed! Problems with electric over Bank holidays, power always cuts out, due to number of people on site. When owner asked re this they can be sharp and someone cheeky. General area good and beach very good. Golden Sands

Arrived over the recent bank holiday weekend - large static caravan site right next to the beach. Touring pitches are either on concrete or on grass pitches nearby. Most early arrivals seemed to go for the concrete bases even though they were more compact. Family running the site were very friendly and helpful, nightime was very quiet (despite the site being very full) and washing facilities were clean. Site was also very tidy. On site there is an accessories shop which was useful to stock up on toilet fluid.etc. WE WILL GO BACK!! Only negative point for us is that credit cards were not accepted at office as a payment method.

This is without question a Jekyll & Hyde site....my tip is to take a grass pitch up the back and not one of the hard pitches right in the centre...it feels tighter than Julian Clareys tights when you are pitched there...no room...no privacy...hear everything around from the rows behind ,in front and alongside. Not the greatest....nobody to greet us on arrival.....bit of a grunt on departure (1 Day early) and really too much noise and boozing going on for our liking...we are a family with a 4 year old !! Try it at your own risk.
