On arrival you are greeted not with a flower bed nor water fountain but a cage full of gas bottles. No hanging baskets of any description around the reception area. Super pitches look like they've been laid down with spent railway ballast & is a complete eye sore. When it rained the area around our van became like a giant sponge & flooded in some area's. There were four toilet/shower blocks that I took a look at & noted that only one was up to a modern standard although they're kept clean. I found the reception staff to be quite rude & quick tempered. The site describes Lytham as a chic town & is a great pity that Eastham Hall does not follow suit. It has the potential to be a great caravan park if only the owners would invest more of their money wisely. Would not go back again & definately would not recommend.

we booked this site at the last minute , we live only 30 mins away but wanted somewhere for the Easter break and couldn't gat anywhere else. The prices are high for a very old and dated site. The pitch was on grass and it had been raining , so in their defence they did put down large hard boards, which were a great help, but the land around was a mess with deep muddy ruts all over, we had to go into 4 wheel drive to get on. The shower block was very tatty, we used the showers only once, preferring to use our own in the van. On the Saturday night at 5-45 unfortunately the pressure in the gas bottle dropped very low and looked like it was going to shut off.As the shop was closed my husband called up at the wardens caravan to ask for another gas bottle. The storage cage for the gas is situated very close to the van, but nontheless they refused to sell him a bottle , saying that the shop was closed. He then proceeded to try to find somewhere to buy a bottle, but to no avail, however we did manage to finish cooking tea. Our neighbours did offer us their spare bottle, but we didn't need it in the end. We usually carry a spare bottle but we were waiting to change to lighter weight bottles and thought that we had enough to last. The next day we went to a caravan shop where we purchased a new bottle. We have just taken a season pitch and we have now been down twice, we have had a fantastic time and our kids love it on the facilities, they have new grass cutters and the earlier grass reported problems no loger exist, they must read these sites because they do act on negatives and you cannot ask for more than that... I highly recommend this site. Eastham Hall Caravan Park

I am not at all happy with the staff at Eastham Hall. We booked in advance and paid in full for four nights over the Easter weekend. We were asked the length of our motorhome and we were informed that we would have a hardstanding pitch with electric hookup on our arrival. We arrived late afternoon and we were told that we would have to stay on the car park as the staff had given our pitch to another person. We were offered a refund but we now had nowhere to stay and we were offered no help or advice. We felt unsafe parking a new motorhome on a car park so we left and will not be returning.

We stayed for a week last Sept and had a most enjoyable time. The site was quiet and clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful. If you don't fancy driving, it is only a 15 min walk into Lytham or 5 mins on the bus. We are intending to go back this year.

Lovely site on outskirts of Lytham, within easy reach of busier pusuits! Found the site to be quiet, clean and well ordered. Shower blocks old, but spotless with plenty of hot water and free showers. Washing machines looked like antiques, but was assured that they work (and only £1.50 per wash!). Childrens play area excellent. Had good shop and staff pleasant and helpful.
