The Trading Post is a charming, four-star family run holiday park in County Wexford, 15 minutes from the town of Wexford itself, in the south east corner of Ireland. This campsite welcomes motorhomes, touring caravans and tents, and there are some hardstanding pitches available. There's a small extra charge if you want an electric hook-up. This holiday park's amenities block has hot showers, while there's also an on site laundrette, and the park stocks gas cylinders and gas mantels. The impressive and imposing Enniscorthy Castle also makes a great day out when you're touring this region of Eire. You could also take in the Irish Agricultural Museum and Johnstown Castle Gardens, or the Victorian Wells House and Gardens during your tour of County Wexford. And you can easily spend a day enjoying Wexford, the county town. Wander around the ruins of the 12th century Selskar Abbey or head to Wexford Wildfowl Reserve. Wells Holiday Park is a popular, five-star adult only caravan site found outside the cathedral city of Wells in the heart of Somerset. The park has pitches for motorhomes, touring caravans and tents, as well as offering holiday lodges to rent and buy and holiday cottages for rent. This adults only campsite is open all year and most of the pitches are all weather pitches, while all of them benefit from electric hook-ups. Elsewhere around the site, guests will find a facilities block with underfloor heating housing showers, toilets and wash basins, and there's a disabled wet room, plus shaver points and sockets for hair dryers. There's also a laundrette, outside washing up sinks, chemical disposal points and grey water disposal points. Wi-Fi is available, too. There is a well-stocked shop on the site where guests can pick up grocery essentials, fresh milk and bread, as well as camping gas and other equipment - and there's a freezer here that those pitched on site are welcome to use. In addition, this campsite is home to the Essence Beauty Centre where a variety of pampering treatments can be booked. There's also a petanque court. Wells Holiday Park offers caravan storage, plus caravan cleaning and servicing are available, both during a stay as well as while your tourer is in storage. The location of Wells Holiday Park means it is a wonderful base from which to head out and explore all of Somerset. Wells itself is very pretty and definitely worth exploring, especially the awe-inspiring Wells Cathedral. Near the cathedral, take time to discover the magnificent Bishop's Palace and Gardens, and maybe enjoy a wander down the quaint Vicar's Close. Why not explore the beautiful Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is on your doorstep if you've pitched at Wells Holiday Park. Here, such treasures as the Wookey Hole caves and Cheddar Gorge can be found. The area can be explored on foot or on bicycle, as there are many footpaths and cycle routes and trails found here. And heading to the highest points across the Mendips will afford some breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
