Park Description

Polruan Holidays is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, and as a result is one of the most picturesque holiday parks in Cornwall. Open from April to October, lovers of nature and outdoor pursuits will find everything they need to keep them occupied in this stunning part of the south coast.

Polruan Holidays is a five-star rated park, and offers something for holidaymakers of all tastes. Serviced pitches are on hand for those with their own caravans, motorhomes, or tents, while there are luxurious and comfortable holiday homes for hire, too.

The park is just outside the small Polruan village, and gives you immediate access to miles of countryside and great coastline. Unlike the north Cornwall coast, this area to the south has very calm and tranquil seas, making the beaches excellent for relaxing as well as paddling or swimming in the sea.

A passenger ferry operates from Polruan across to the town of Fowey, meaning you don't ever need to get in the car and drive anywhere should you choose not to do so. On the site, there is a children's play area for keeping little ones on the move, while in Polruan there are two family friendly pubs, as well as a supermarket, gift shops, and a café. If you are looking to explore further then the whole of Cornwall and Devon is at your mercy.

The world-famous Eden Project attraction is a short distance away, as is the Dartmoor National Park for those looking to explore even more countryside and woodland. Those who want to discover the best towns and cities in the area will need to drive a little further, but the lively and vibrant surrounds of St. Austell and Plymouth are well worth it. In addition, friendly villages can be found all along the coast and throughout the countryside. Polruan is a truly stunning location, and a great place to escape to for a relaxing break.
