In addition, 25 fishing pegs are available at Herons Cottage, with guests able to enjoy fishing from 6am until dusk. If you are staying here you can pick up a seasonal fishing permit or a single day permit from the campsite's reception.

Peterborough, which has an impressive cathedral, is about a 30-minute drive away, too.
Or perhaps you'd like to visit Cambridge on your motorhome, camping and caravan holidays. It is about an 80-minute drive from Herons Cottage, but for many a trip to this famous university city is well worth the effort, the glorious architecture of the colleges and chapels, not to mention a punt along the River Cam, just some of the many things to do here. Cambridge is also a great shopping destination and there are a good number of cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants, too.
Pitch at Herons Cottage and enjoy a memorable break in the east of England.
