Orchard Park Touring Caravan & Camping Park is a beautiful holiday destination, found in the heart of Nottinghamshire in the small and charming village of Tuxford. This campsite is ideal for families looking for a quiet break within reach of Nottinghamshire's most popular attractions, and is open from mid-March until mid-November every year. The site welcomes guests with motorhomes, touring caravans and tents to the site. Hardstanding pitches are available, while all of the 'mixed use' pitches, that are suitable for all units, benefit from electric hook-ups. The park sits on a mature fruit orchard, with the natural layout of greenery at the site ensuring all pitches give those staying there some degree of privacy. Facilities found at Orchard Park Touring Caravan & Camping Park include an amenities block with toilets, basins, showers and a coin operated laundrette, while there are also recycling points and chemical waste disposal points, and four fresh water stand pipes are found across the park. The site also has a small shop stocking essential groceries, while Calor Gas and Camping Gaz canisters can be exchanged at the park. A tourist information hut has a generous selection of leaflets to help guests plan their day out in the Nottinghamshire countryside. Wi-Fi is available for guests to use for a small additional charge. Dogs are welcome to stay at Orchard Park Touring Caravan & Camping Park, and a specified dog walking area is provided for guests' convenience. Please ensure you control your four-legged friend and you clean up after them. The site has a play trail for children with climbing frames and more, while an area at the far end of the park has been left to grow naturally for years, and is now perfect for a relaxing nature walk with the family. Sherwood Forest is a great place to visit for guests interested in the history of the area and the legend of Robin Hood. If you want to visit Lincoln on your motorhome, camping and caravan holidays, it's a 30- to 40-minute drive from this campsite, the cathedral, the castle and the cobbled streets perfect for a day out. Only 2 hours from London, ferry routes connect directly with road, rail and coach links to whisk you off to your Island destination. Enjoy a leisurely crossing by car ferry or catch a high-speed passenger ferry for a swift arrival. If you are not bringing a car with you, once ashore you can take advantage of the Island's comprehensive network of buses, which are especially geared towards visitors. Pantglas is a quiet site set in the rolling hills of Pembrokeshire, with breathtaking views of Carmarthen Bay and the Gower peninsular. Our park is within easy reach of the pretty walled fishing harbour town of Tenby and the bustling resort of Saundersfoot. Along the south west coastline a number of golden sandy coves make perfect destinations for a relaxing day on the beach. The park is set in four enclosures on a 14 acre site, consisting of 86 touring pitches, all of which are on hard standings with 10 amp electric hook-ups.
